Yeeaaahhhh OOOooh Yeeeeeeeaaaahhhhh
I am now rockin' a halo on this shiny diamond black coiffure. The purple 'halo' is really wine. The deposit/lift formula didn't take as vibrantly as I would have hoped for, but I'll do it again next week. I don't have a new cut as I am trying to get more length to my hair. (I like how certain lengths can easily be manipulated into the "just rolled off" look.) Without a cut, however, I have a lot of bulk! I really would like to get the back tapered somewhat and,perhaps, some notching to get rid of the weightline. I still have a Joan Jett feel, sans a mullet-y nape. I dunno. But can I say how much silkier one's tresses feel after an application of color???? You can actually hear it say "aaaaahhhhh!". I do so love having the color refreshed.
Jen and I will be going to Area on Sat. in celebration of having new hair. A few drinks will be had. And there is sure to be loads of dancing coming from me. Hope to see some familiar faces.
