Classes have started and I am insanely busy. I didn't think it would be this busy, but class and teaching and studying for the CPA exam is taking its toll. I have 80 students to teach for Principles of Financial Accounting. The teaching itself I like, but I don't like grading papers. It takes soooooo long sometimes! If they didn't make so many mistakes, it would go faster! Haha.
I'm taking one grad level class, it's supposed to be the capstone course for the Masters of Accountancy Program. It's a ton of work! Readings, case studies, case write ups for each class and we have class discussion points. I hate class discussion points! I get so nervous and don't know what to say a lot of times. It's different when I'm the one teaching the class.
I haven't even really started studying for the Regulation section of the CPA exam. I'm taking a Review course that is all day every Saturday. Makes me tired. I already took two sections of the CPA exam and passed the Audit section. I'm still waiting for my scores for the Business section. I hope I pass. The pass rates for the CPA exam are less than the Bar exam... like 10%.
I visited my best friend Melody and she threw me a bridal shower in Fort Walton Beach! It was fun and I was really surprised and happy.
I also bought my wedding dress!!! It's an off white color, strapless, embroidery and beading all over the bodice and the hem of the skirt. There are satin buttons all down the back and the train. The train is chapel train length and the skirt is a-line, almost ball gown. It's gorgeous and I wish I could wear it more than once!!
Michael and I were trying to buy a house... but I think we're going to wait until I start working... houses are expensive!!
