Somewhere "out back", quite a distance from the all-too-present Mansion, there's a smallish meadow, possibly some kind of cow's pasture left alone and gone to seed, all over with wildflowers and weeds. Weeds, flowers, and - apparently also a blue-eyed blonde, her feet bare and her skirt hitched up around her knees to avoid getting caught in the thickest brambles.
