Hi! You wanted to know what the party was like, right? Well, first off there was drinking and dancing and music food and all the sorts of things that go with parties. The food was pretty good, and I guess the drinks were pretty good too because a lot of people ended up pretty sick this morning!
The costumes were great! Some people got really creative. I saw somebody dressed as a peacock! She looked so pretty! I was a clockwork automaton, which I thought was a really great costume, but then I saw Rayna and her husband dressed like day and night and I felt so jealous that I didn't have anybody who would dress up to match me! Oh and there was somebody dressed up as you!
I recognized a lot of Others there but only because I know them really well. Most people couldn't tell who they were, and they were all really well-behaved. One of my friends is a faerie and she just kept dancing the whole night with anybody who asked.
One of my friends got pretty tired halfway through - he doesn't go to parties very often - so I let him rest in my bodice, but Erme was mad at him for some reason and kept yelling at him which was kiiiind of awkward for other people to watch because they didn't know why she was yelling at my dress.
I heard my Uncle Ravi - he's a guardsman - escorted Princess Sevda home early. I'm kind of surprised so many people who DON'T LIKE PARTIES showed up. Actually I'm kind of surprised so many people DON'T LIKE PARTIES in the first place!!
It's too bad you couldn't come. Maybe you could have pretended not to be the Occia and had a lot of fun mingling with people who didn't know who you were!
