On the train
Well, I remembered my Laptop this trip and am quite pleased to discover that the train offers free wifi access and a laptop port. We also managed to get a table seat! So overall, I think this is a good start to the journey.
To expand a bit on my previous quick post, we've decided to take the flat in Langley Moor. It's a six month lease and may or may not come furnished. I think we can negotiate that a bit. Andy's mum has offered to take us to the church's thrift shop and we can pick what we want. They will make a donation to help us out, which is very kind of them. I will certainly need a desk and a lot more bookshelves. So we will have to see what we can get.
Other than that, I'm supposed to be doing work... so we shall see how that plays out. Either way, I couldn't resist the free wifi. :D Pulling out of York at the moment and on our way. I get a fun map where I can watch the progress of the train on my laptop.
