Arrived
Just thought I would let everyone know that I have arrived safely in the US. I probably should have posted this a bit earlier but I got a bit side tracked with the parents. Anyway, so far it hasn't been too bad. My visa app has been sent out and will hopefully let me stay in the UK for another 3 years. Andy seems to like the US. We went to New York on Saturday and wondered about the city for a bit. We didn't see a whole lot, but it was enough for a first trip. It just means that we need to go back. He has met my mum's side of the family. It went okay. I have discovered that the food here is very different than the food in the UK. Stuff I could eat back home I can no longer eat. Thus the list of forbidden items are: Milk, cheese, and oily foods. Which makes it rather difficult to actually eat anything. Additionally, it is rather difficult to even eat healthly over here. Particularly if you tend to eat out as often as my parents do. *sigh* Anyway. I need to get in contact with people. Tim and Ben I need to talk to you guys and we should plan some time to get together. I think a trip to Hershey park might be in order and a trip to Rockwells as well. And of course gaming. I'm not sure if I have your current number. Send me an e-mail with it.
