goldenhawkw. Well, this weekend was interesting. Visited a bit with Andy and his family. We ended up going to Barnard Castle and wondering around there. I, per usual, forgot my camera. So of course it was a rather picturesque day and the castle was beautiful. They have a lovely window in what was once the great hall that overlooks the River Tees. The view from the walls was amazing as well. You could see down to the medieval bridge, which was still in use as one of the only crossings to get across the Tees, and up the village on the hill side which had some lovely stone houses. A very Yorkshire view according to Andy. They also had a dovecote which had small alcoves in the stone wall for the pigeons. It looked like it had been in use until recently since there was reminants of a nest still there. We didn't have a lot of time to look around so I insited that we should have to come back again. This time I shall not forget my camera.
Since I did forget my camera on that trip I decided to make it up by taking pictures of the cats and dogs. Lucy and Sophie were semi co-operative, but I didn't like how any of their pictures turned out. Garfield wisely disapeared. Snowy, however, as a white cat, likes my room and dark coloured clothing. I was wearing black when I got this shot. Best one of the lot I think.
Other than that I have been introduced to Red Dwarf and I love it. Andy gave me a few more CDs of Bob Dylan to listen to. We also played Carcassonne and Andy won all of the games. Well, what can I say, luck wasn't with me, and I did teach him well. I think I need to revise my stragety again. Well, I should get back to work. I need to write my 500 words yet today.
