He’s rigged up a target on a rope that he’s run through several of the branches so that he can stand at the far end and yank on the rope and have the target swing down

[Yes, unfortunately for Vash, it's not that easy to escape people in this place. And Sanji's taken to long, long walks through the forest almost daily, just to think and pretend he's not bottled up in a place he can't escape.

He's humming to himself this time around, every now and then adding a few words to the melody. It chokes in his throat, though, when he hears the sounds of bullets close by, and lets out a startled "O-OI!". Who the hell was that?]
