Under a lot of construction! But feel free to comment if you feel you should be on here. Vash never forgets a face so really if he at least got your name you should probably be up here. Chances are you're on my list; but it's long so feel free to comment!
Last updated: 5/5/11 - I suck at updating this!
- Vash is in love with you.
- Means Vash likes you. It's really easy to get one of these from Vash. A bit harder to get beyond three.
- It's harder to get past one or two with Vash. One might mean Vash doesn't trust you but otherwise if you go past that. Vash pretty much hates you.
Meryl Stryfe "Insurance Girl"
Meryl is someone very special to Vash. She is one of the very first people he’s ever told his whole story too. She’s seen him at his worst and most dangerous and yet still she follows him. At first she was a bit of an annoyance and he wished she wouldn’t follow him so much; but now he can’t imagine his life without her close by. Although she means more than anything to him (even donuts) he has trouble admitting it. While Vash has deep connections to everyone he meets and cares deeply for all; Meryl is the very first he’s felt real love for. He’s not sure how to show it and the complications it brings. How is it fair to Meryl to put her life in danger with the people who stalk him and when she will age and he will not? He’s still working on it.
Wolfwood "Preacher Man"
Wolfwood is Vash’s best friend. He was one of the very first people to successively follow and keep up with Vash. Unlike the insurance girls he can get rough with Wolfwood. Even if he does tend to lose all of the wrestling matches they get into. Wolfwood is also one of the very few people Vash trusts to have his back in a fight. He can fight without having to worry about him; although this feeling has changed slightly since his death. Vash was surprised to hear that at the beginning it was Wolfwood’s job to protect and lead him to his brother, but he fully believes Wolfwood when he said that, that was no longer the same. Wolfwood is his friend and there is very little that will change that in his mind now.
It’s no secret that Wolfwood is Vash’s best friend and person he trusts the most. Vash has actually started to sleep a little better knowing Wolfwood is around to back him up if things start to go bad. He will FOREVER feel guilty that he wasn’t there when Wolfwood needed him the most. He feels as if he failed a friend again. Since even his strongest friend could be killed Vash has had a little trouble feeling comfortable letting people get too close, but it’s okay, Luceti has been slowly fixing that for him.
Wolfwood is a man that Vash can feel comfortable sharing a drink with and know he can take teasing here and there (and spit it right back). He doesn’t have to be too careful around Wolfwood, he’s been around the world and knows what it’s like. Wolfwood keeps him tied to reality more than any other person could. Although totally tied down is impossible.
Of course some of Wolfwood’s world views stink. No seriously, what kind of church man ARE you? But despite their rather different views on the world, Wolfwood has always stuck by his side. This really means a lot to Vash. People don’t always have to agree with each other and he’s glad that Wolfwood is willing to put up with his pacifism to keep their friendship.
Of course was that just because he was told to baby-sit him? Vash doesn’t think so. He's continued to stick by him no matter what, even in Luceti before Legato and Knives showed up. He didn’t need to, he just wanted to. Wolfwood, Meryl, and Milly have been the only ones brave enough and patient enough to follow after him and put up with him in all the years that he’s been traveling. He cared so much about him that you were willing to put your life on the line for him. And for that, Vash could never feel grateful enough to call Wolfwood his best friend.
Milly Thompson "Big Girl"
"The only good part is she doesn't know just how smart she is." Milly may seem simple at times, but Vash knows too well just how sharp Milly can really be. At first it was an annoyance, because even though Vash tends to wear his emotions closer to the sleeve than most, there were plenty of things he didn't think anyone should be able to pick up. Yet, Milly seems to be able to cut through all his bullshit at times and get right to the heart of the matter. If she knows it or not.
Vash loves her honest way of living. How she lets so little get her down. It's encouraging to see someone like that on Gunsmoke. You never have to guess what how Milly is feeling. She tries to grin and bear it like everyone else when she feels it's what best for those around her, but she can never REALLY hide it all. That's what people, Vash included, love about her. She's honest and will do everything she can to make sure those around her are happy. Sometimes, for a cause she truly believes in, she'll even put herself at risk for others happiness. Vash worries sometimes for her in those situation. Someone could easily take advantage of that carrying side to her, so he's glad she has such a good friend like Meryl to keep her safe. She's someone Vash is very proud to call a close friend; if not family.
Sanji "Twinkle Toes"
Vash has a lot of fun with Sanji. For some reason it’s just so much fun to push all his buttons - and he’s good at doing so even when he’s not trying to. He’s glad to have a friend again that can take a little abuse and dish it right back. Although he really wishes he’d quit smoking. Oh? And did we mention Sanji makes the best donuts?
Sanji is still one of the closest friends Vash has made in Luceti, but sadly now with Wolfwood here he’s been bumped down jusssssssssssst a little in terms of who Vash turns to for back-up. No offense Sanji, but he’s already fought side by side with Wolfwood many times and is just slightly more comfortable with him as back-up in a pinch. :(
But besides who he may ask to watch over Meryl if something happens to him, Vash still cares deeply about his relationship with Sanji. He will always be Twinkle Toes 8D That guy that it’s fun to be silly with and around, but can kick his ass if he goes too far.
Although he never really expected any different, the fact that Sanji hasn’t treated him any differently since finding out what he really is, is really important to Vash. Luceti has shown him that people here are pretty tolerant about being different species, but it’s still a hard fact to get through is own head. Having it literally be proven has helped his mental state on that.
Of course, if you could stop asking certain questions things would be even better. Sanji is one of those people that like to ask Vash the hard questions he doesn’t typically like to answer or may not even HAVE an answer for. He really doesn’t like talking about himself and there are some things that really are just better not being talked about. (At least in his mind they are.) But, it does speak wonders how close you’ve gotten with Vash that even if you don’t ask the perfectly right question you might still get an answer. Most people either will get avoided or have to word their question just right for him to answer it. Even then the answer might need to be deciphered.
He is working on trying to learn to depend on people again. It’s just hard when all his allies have typically wound up dead. He likes you enough that he doesn’t want to see you dead!
Nami "Fair Maiden"
Vash has come to really like Nami. She seems to care very much about her crewmates and just others in general. For awhile there Vash actually thought Nami was the captain of the Straw Hats when his nickname for Usopp was brought into question - after all she does seem to have a good head on her shoulders. Although Vash isn’t too happy with some of the ‘friends’ Nami seems to be making. He would be devastated if something happened to her.
Even still, Nami is a bit difficult for Vash. He enjoys her company and is always USUALLY happy to be around her, but if things get serious he’d almost rather avoid her. He always feels like he’s walking through a field of landmines when they have to discuss something big and important. Always as if he’s walking though a field of land mines and anything out of his mouth could be a misstep and blow him to smithereens. He knows most of what he’ll say will upset her, he doesn’t WANT to upset her, but he can’t back down from his ideals.
She’s one of the ones that gives Vash almost no leeway with his desire to save everyone. It sometimes weighs heavily on Vash’s mind. He knows how little you care for the way he thinks and that he’s going to get someone killed. He has no way to show you that he won’t let anyone get killed, but with his words, which are no good. So while he hates it when your mad at him, he has nothing he can really do about it and has come to accept that you will probably spend a lot of time being angry with him. If it eventually means an end to their friendship Vash will always hate himself for it, wish there could be someway to repair it, but give you your space.
When there isn’t “shit going down” Vash can have fun with Nami. Although he will never be as relaxed with her as he will be with most of the crew, due to the issues stated above, he’s happy to go have a drink with her, just chat with her (so long as it doesn’t pertain to world views), or even just hang out and do nothing. She’s given him some great laughs and fun times. He’d like to find a comfortable medium to where he can feel as relaxed around her as the other crew, but for now he can’t seem to find it.
Usopp "Captain"
Vash met Usopp while attempting (and failing) to make a snowman. He blew Vash away with his amazing snowman building skills. Not to mention he’s been told that Usopp is a sharpshooter and is interested to see just how good he is. He can tell Usopp has a very kind heart which only makes him like him even more.
Usopp was one of his very first friends in Luceti. They had a lot of fun together. Some of his favorite memories of Luceti is playing in the snow together. He’s so happy to have someone to embrace his snow time fun with him. Not to mention Usopp’s panic attacks are always a fun bit of amusement.
He also likes that out of the Straw Hat crew Usopp hasn’t come asking him too many hard questions that he doesn’t want to answer. Usually more willing to let things go then say Nami or Sanji. Some advice maybe that trying to tackle things on his own isn’t the smartest thing, but not pushing him into saying anything he doesn’t want to talk about. Vash appreciates not being put into those situations more than he has to be.
Brook Nickname Pending
For being a dead guy he’s a lot of fun. Brook seems to be a very noble person indeed. The fact that he was willing to take time to try to help people he hardly knew put him in high ranks in Vash’s eyes. Although he tends to take some things a bit too literally Vash likes Brook and enjoys hanging out with him.
Luffy "Rubber Boy"
Vash is still surprised that Luffy is the captain of the Straw Hats. Luffy is good at confounding Vash to no end. He also needs to learn that Luffy takes things very literally and when he has his mind set on something there seems to be no escape. Vash is touched by Luffy’s need to protect his crew and with that is starting to see why he’s captain but he just wishes there was some other way for Luffy to protect his crew other than violence. To say Luffy doens't dumbfound Vash on occation would be a lie. At times he seems so simple that back when they first met Vash didn't believe he was the captain, until Nami told him the truth, but considering the wisdom and loyatly towards his friends and crew that Vash has seen since than he can easily understand why now.
It's just so impossible to discribe you at times. Your fun and goofy to be around, but then can turn serious and give Vash such a tounge lashing the next. You simple and straightfoward and then complicated and clever the next. When they first met Vash never would have guessed you would have been so quick to shoot down his dreams of peace with such realistic knowladge how the world works. Really Vash lives more in a fairy tail dream than Luffy does. Of course Vash knows the world isn't the way he'd like it right now, but he refuses your idea that it could never one day BECOME that.
You're also too violent for his tastes at first. Your hit first, ask questions later can be so frustrating, but you make up for it for having a kind heart towards those who don't give up, but need a hand.
Chopper Nickname Pending
The cutest member of the Straw Hat crew! Vash hasn’t gotten to know Chopper as well as he would like. He knows Chopper is a doctor and seems to take that role very seriously. Also tends to take things a bit too literally. Vash really needs to keep that in mind when talking to the Straw Hat crew.
Zoro
Nickname Pending
Vash doesn’t know enough yet about Zoro. He met him once when Nami was injured and then was shortly introduced by Sanji’s foot. But he’s a member of the Straw Hats and therefore must be a pretty good guy. During an event Zoro kidnapped Vash and took him to his wedding of Nami. It’s obvious the guy cares about his crew but Vash is still holding on an actual full judgment when he can talk to the guy more without crazy infecting everyone.
Giles
"Dad?" Pending
During an AU event where everyone was given different memories of who they were and who their families where, Giles became Vash's father. During the event Vash decided he could have never asked for a better father. Giles was caring and sweet to him in the memories of growing up calling the man "dad". He was even willing to take on a demon dog that had been chasing Vash. If that's not the makings for an awesome dad, Vash isn't sure what is.
Now that the experiment is over and Vash realizes he's been calling someone he's never met before "Dad." Despite that, Vash still feels fairly close to the man. It's a strange feeling. Being over a century older it's not exactly of father and son anymore. Most of the memories Vash had of growing up under Giles's care has sadly gone now, but he still finds himself feeling relaxed around the man. Giles may just be lucky enough to get a straight answer from Vash about some topics that it took others months (and many still not to that point) to reach. It really depends mostly on the timing and the topic.
They may not be family anymore, but Vash feels as those Giles really is the good person his AU self thought he was. He's willing to believe in that and is looking forward to getting to know his "father" better.
Elicia
Nickname Pending
Elicia is so cute and Vash just wants to scoop her up and hug her every time he sees her. While he really hates that ANY kid is brought to Luceti and ripped from their families, it’s a little different with Elicia. From what he’s heard her talk of about her papa and what he knows of Hughes, Vash has a bad feeling about Hughes’s state of health back home. So while he hates that these experiments effect and hurt her, he’s glad she’s getting more time to spend with her father.
Winry
Mechanic
Despite that he’s not exactly HAPPY that Winry is helping his enemy, Vash cannot help but be touched by her desire to help anyone who may need it. It follows his own views really and he could NEVER be angry at her for that.
He has come to really appreciate Winry and all she’s done for him. Past just the arm repairs. She’s never asked him HOW he lost his arm and even more sensitive questions she did ask she was willing to wait and let some wounds heal before asking them. It’s easy to see that she cares a lot for others and Vash loves that part about her.
She’s passionate about all she does, Vash respects that. He’s worried over the trouble it might get her in, but he would never, ever want her to change. Because her being that way is what makes him proud to call her his friend.
Kaori
Nickname Pending
Oh Kaori. Vash feels horrible for the life you’ve apparently lead so far. He feels bad that you’ve been hurt so much that it’s hard for you to trust anyone. He wants to help to show you that not everyone is bad and that there are a lot of good people in Luceti.
He is also impress by how little your blindness seems to effect you. For that he tends to let you try to figure things out for yourself, but stepping in when he needs to. He’s also become rather protective of her since what’s happened with Legato. He feels as if he let her down once already and needs to find a way to make it up to her somehow. Vash wants to make sure she is always safe and can finally have the fun childhood she deserved.
Aerith
Nickname Pending
Vash really respects Aerith as I’m going with that she and Flonne pretty much have taught him everything he knows about caring for flowers. He can read about it all he wants, but it’s not the same as actually doing it. Seeing how much Rem loved flowers, learning how to grow them himself and being able to care properly for the ones she left behind is very important to Vash.
That said he has fun around her. She’s easy to get along with and joke with. He’s not afraid to make a mistake or say something foolish because she’d just laugh it off anyway. He can just be more relaxed around her.
That and he’s super jealous that she can talk to the flowers and he can’t.
He’s really glad that their friendship is easily being built back up after she went home. He would have been devastated if that hadn’t worked out. Not JUST because he was terrified of having to try to handle the flower shop all on his own.
She makes the flower shop one of his favorite daily visits. Before it was just to see the flowers, but now he’s hoping she’ll be there too for him to run into.
Cheyenne
Nickname Pending
Vash thinks it’s terrible that you can’t comprehend and understand certain emotions. More so that it seems you are unable to laugh. It seems like a sad way to live. He really, REALLY wants to help teach you more about feelings and learn how to laugh. I wasn’t joking when I said it’s one of his goals in Luceti.
He can also see it’s going to take awhile.
Other than that, even if you can’t show emotion very well, he can tell you’re very kind, sweet, and really care for others. Like he said on their first meeting, if you weren’t worried for others or were trying to really hurt him - you wouldn’t have told him your weaknesses. You have emotions somewhere down there, you just show them in different ways. For that, Vash is happy for you to nibble at his soul now and then.
Luka
Nickname Pending
Is the very first person Vash talked to in Luceti. She was kind enough to help him find his way to the village and get him clothed properly. Although she’s an android that doesn’t matter at all to Vash. She has an amazing singing voice and personality as well. She always seems so cheery and is always fun to hang out with. More so when they’re building snowmen together!
Ami Nickname Pending
She seems a bit like a hung strung girl who needs a good friend. Sometimes the way she seemed to look down at people grated a bit on Vash’s nerves, but her endearing spirit was something he could respect. It wasn’t that she disliked people, but more felt like they weren’t trying hard enough to better their situation. So as far as Vash knows she was sent home and came back, he believes that’s how she lost all her memories of Luceti. It hurts that she doesn’t remember him, but she seems so much happier now that he’s glad for it. He’s looking forward to getting to know her once again.
Kohaku "Angel"
Vash is very found of Kohaku and enjoys his talks with her. Be them silly or more serious questions about angels and the after life. He worries about her often as she tires quickly in the winter. She’s sweet and kind which makes her a favorite of his new friends. Her innocents is something he adores about her. He wants to be able to protect her and keep her safe so that her innocents will stay for as long as possible. She’s so kind to others and always manages to make him feel happy and hopeful for the future.
After all, if Kohaku can be happy in a place like Luceti and hang on to hope, then he can too! He makes sure to keep some milk and honey in his fridge just in case she ever decides to stop by!
Jack Sparrow
Nickname Pending
Jack… what can we say about Jack? There was something to do with pies. Oh right! The pirate that is nothing like the Straw Hats that seems at times like a good man - which always ends up some how getting Vash into trouble. Vash can’t help but like the guy though. Through all the bad things he’s done,
like knocking Bones over the head in the desert, Vash can’t help but believe there is some good in him. Somewhere… buried… in some sticky goo. Although it can be hard to keep the man out of trouble at times, he is fun to be around. And frustrating.
Derek
Nickname Pending
Vash likes Derek and enjoys hanging out with him. Not about to go sharing any deep secrets, but would happily give Derek a hand if he needed help from fighting a baddie to just moving some furniture around. Even though they haven't really interacted a whole heck of a lot, I figured they've spent a few days chasing down Jack in the desert and probably got to know each other a little bit.
Oh, he really appreciated that he
kept Raph from punching him in the face. Link
Nickname Pending
Vash hasn’t had enough to really get deep into Link just yet. He knows he can be a fun kid and has enjoyed the couple times they’ve played together (like in the leaves). He seems like a good kid with a very good heart. Vash would actually like to get to know Link better because he can just tell Link has a pure heart and cares for everyone around him.
Terra "Nickname Pending"
Vash met Terra when he was searching for some information about Kefka. He appreciated her honesty and willingness to talk about someone who she obviously didn’t care for. Then later after he saw her transform during the fight with Kefka they talked briefly. Vash could understand her nervousness about letting people see her Esper side, but couldn’t bring himself to tell her why. Terra remind him a little of himself and because of this Vash would like to get to know Terra better and would be devastated if something happened to her.
Haruki "Chief"
Vash met Terra when he was searching for some information about Kefka. He appreciated her honesty and willingness to talk about someone who she obviously didn’t care for. Then later after he saw her transform during the fight with Kefka they talked briefly. Vash could understand her nervousness about letting people see her Esper side, but couldn’t bring himself to tell her why. Terra remind him a little of himself and because of this Vash would like to get to know Terra better and would be devastated if something happened to her.
Raven "Drinking Buddy"
Is an amusing old man and one of Vash’s favorite people to go drinking with. Raven also seems to have someone close to him who enjoyed flowers, so it’s something the two share. Anyone with respect for flowers is good in Vash’s book! Just as he was starting to grow closer to Raven he was sent home. He has since returned and doesn't remember who Vash is. Vash is currently trying to hide how much this hurts and starting their friendship over again.
Now that they have started to get back to being good friends again, Raven is one of Vash’s favorite people to go drinking with. He doesn’t ask too many questions. He doesn’t try to dwell on the bad stuff. Vash can just have a good time, drinking, and forgetting his problems with Raven. He enjoys that Raven can be relaxed and laid back so Vash doesn’t have to feel on guard all the time. He can actually let himself go with his drinking just a little more when he doesn’t have to worry about someone suddenly questioning him about his history or his world views.
Vash is happy to have found such a good “chill” buddy!
Adell Nickname Pending
Vash met Adell in the messy incident with Kefka. Although it ended fairly badly Vash was a bit surprised to find that Adell didn’t resent him from trying to stop people from attempting to kill Kefka. That in fact he was impressed by Vash’s willingness to stick to his principles. This surprised Vash, not many people say stuff like that too him. Adell seems like a very loyal friend and cares about people in general. Vash would like to get to know Adell better.
San "Moro's Daughter"
Well, these two haven't met too much, and not like most of their meetings went well. While Vash doesn't dislike San at all, he does typically try to avoid her unless say - she falls on top of him somehow, he doesn't realize it's her for some reason, or she's in need of help. Mostly because he knows she's Moro daughter and therefore - hates guns.
He doesn't hate her for hating guns, but he's not the type to force himself on someone who obviously doesn't like her. Guns suck, he knows that, but he would like it if she would judge the person, not the weapon they choose to use.
One day he'd like to get along with both her and Moro, partly due to then he won't feel the need to watch his back every time he enters the forest, but feel deep down that they seem like they were once very good people. They just had really horrible things that have left them jaded. He's willing to work to fix this. ....no matter how impossible it might be. After all, everything she and Moro do is to protect the forest, so they can't be all bad.
Kain "Grumpy pants"
Vash actually does feel a little guilty that he cost him his revenge. Had he known exactly what Yuber meant to Kain he might not have tried to stop him in such a physical manner. He doesn't feel like it was the wrong thing to do still. He understands any anger Kain might feel towards him. To avoid further anger from him and confrontation Vash will be trying to avoid him for the most part.
Miyabi "Little Sis"
Is the cutest littlest thing ever. Her loving and kind nature is something Vash deeply respects. She goes out of her way to make sure everyone around her is happy, but also has a spunk about her. She’s sweet but can also be a little firecracker and a force to be reckoned with! She just has a wonderful outlook on life and Vash would be devastated if anyone dared to hurt her.
He also LOVES the beautiful room she painted for him! He will always and forever be impressed by her painting skills. He loves how full of life Miyabi can be, bouncing around everywhere and not letting her size get the best of her. Yeah, it may annoy her at times, but that doesn’t stop her! He loves that about his little sister.
Miyabi tends to wear her feelings on her sleeve. Vash loves the fact that when she's happy, she's happy! When she's mad - get out of the way! Although he always feels horrible when you’re sad. He wants to do all he can to cheer her up when he sees you like that. Vash feels like he can relax around Miyabi. She doesn’t ask him hard questions he doesn’t really want to answer. She’s happy to let him be himself and that’s a huge weight off of his own mind.
Batman
Nickname Pending
Batman is someone Vash would willing call out for help if he needed it. If Adell was refreshing by just not chastising him for him dream, even if he doesn't agree with it, Batman practically blows his mind by also having a no-kill style of fighting. He was a little... disturbed that Batman seemed to know little things about him, which makes him believe that he might be a bit of a stalker, but like how Batman trusts him with his firearm, Vash trusts that Batman isn't stalking people for the wrong purposes.
For someone Vash has little CR with - he trusts Batman - a lot.
Ginko Nickname Pending
Vash met Ginko before the closed space event, but was able to talk to him more during it. His calm demeanor considering the circumstances was a bit of a surprise to Vash. Not a bad surprised, it confirmed to Vash that Ginko could be a good strategist and that he’d better be careful how much he says and does around him. As Ginko also seems to have the air of a meddler around him. Even during a conversation about Vash’s reluctance to kill killer butterflies he was surprised to find that Ginko wasn’t so much as scolding him for not wanting to kill them (as so many others seemed to be) but merely curious as to his way of thinking.
Vash isn’t really sure how he should feel around Ginko at the moment. Before he was happy to just be chill around him, because that’s how Ginko was. Although with all the sad stories he’s heard he had wondered about the man’s life, but would never really ask unless the topic was brought up. He seemed at peace with his life for the most part and Vash knows some of his stories could be seen in different ways so he hasn’t really been too worried over it.
Of course NOW that Ginko has figured out that with Vash you really just need to ask the right questions and knows more about him from his gatherings and their talk then most people in Luceti that Vash isn’t really sure how to act around him. He won’t show it outwardly, but Vash doesn’t really like talking about what makes him different, he likes to just fit in. Not that Vash is actually worried much over Ginko trying to do anything to make him uncomfortable; it’s just usually when this sort of thing happens Vash tends to leave town. Luceti makes that hard to do.
Give him time and he’ll get over it. Ginko isn’t the first to figure out most of the things Vash tries to keep to himself, but for now Vash isn’t sure just how to act around the man.
Katie "Moppet"
Katie is adorable and Vash loves kids so she auto slides into a friendship category with him. He does sometimes wonder if behind all the lies and childish antics, if she's really as easy going about being away from her family and in Luceti as she appears to be on the outside. This mostly steams from how much he hates that Luceti tears any child away from their parents more than anything she's hinted at, but still, tiny thing. Must look out for and love.
And while Vash will watch out and try to help Katie when he can, he also realizes that she seems more independent than some children are. The type of child that while not exactly wanting to be seen as an adult, will get upset if you don't let them try to figure it out for themselves first. And really - it's much more satisfying that way anyway. So there won't be any hand holding from Vash unless it seems she's looking for it. He'll do his best to keep a watchful eye, but sometimes - a kid's gotta scrape a knee or two!
All and all, Vash has a lot of fun with Katie. Her wording on some things confuses the hell out of him and while he's getting better at figuring out most everything out of her mouth is a lie - he hasn't figured out yet that EVERYTHING pretty much is. Even when utterly confused, as long as a life isn't on the line, Vash will be happy to be confounded by this little girl and have fun with her.
Legato "Crazy Man with Evil, Evil Eyes"
The one person Vash hoped he’d never have to see again. He is Vash’s biggest mistake and while Vash has found a way to move on from that - seeing the embodiment of that mistake hurts. He’s hoping Legato will start a new life in Luceti and is will to help him with that, but doesn’t think Legato wants to change. All he knows for sure is that he won’t let the same mistakes happen twice. How little Legato cares for anything but Knives honestly frightens Vash. It makes Legato a hard person to fight and talk to.
Yuber "Jerk"
Is a jerk. Vash dislikes Yuber and his way of thinking. Humans are not worthless and there are much more fun way to entertain one self than killing and generally being a jerk to everyone you meet. Yuber is one of the people Vash tends to lecture the most. He hates him even more now that Yuber’s killed him once. The jerk.
