Although he's a bit too lanky for it so his arms and legs dangle off the sides as he snoozes. There's the sounds of tiny mewing as little kittens try to claw their way up and down his arms and legs. [Senses came back slowly. He felt something oddly soft and squishy as the kitten's paw pads tapped against his face. This was then followed by the pinprick feeling of tiny kitten claws as they tried to dig in. Then came that distinct feeling that he was in fact, on top of another living being.

Waking up to a face full of kittens was... really unexpected. But oh yeah he... fell on Vash again, didn't he?]

HOLY CRAP HE FELL ON VASH AGAIN KITTENS ARE GOING TO FLY AS HE SCRAMBLES OFF.]

Aiaiiaiaiaiaa... I think you broke my spine this time. [But despite that he effortlessly catches those kittens before they can fall. Not that they really would have gotten hurt, but he's grown attached to them, okay!?

Although their mother is not happy at all with you right now Livio. Watch out for those claws of hers.]

[CAT ATTACK. A very angry Kuroneko is now latched onto his thigh with her claws very, very dangerously close to a certain area. He is just... gently trying to peel her off while she growls. Growling is generally not very good sign when it comes to cats merely inches away from a low blow. But as much as every instinct is telling him to do so: it just goes against his moral code to just tear her off as quickly as possible and in the process end up unintentionally chucking her at Vash's face.]

Kuroneko! Stop that! [Vash will try to help with her back legs. From one man to another he can almost feel the pain that could blossom for Livio if she's allowed to get any higher.] He didn't mean it!

[And that? That just makes her want to shred his fingers that are trying to pry her off even harder. Even if they heal almost instantly these scratches still feel like he's sticking his hand in a bucket of razor blades.]

I don't think this is working!

Well you shouldn't have attacked her kittens! [Vash knows you didn't mean to, but considering he just had his hand clawed, he's blaming you anyway.]

[Good news: Kuroneko is now off him!
Bad news: she is still a ball of cat fur, claws, and motherly fury. Look out Vash!]

[now it's his turn to help in the "pry off the angry cat" game. At least when she's done trying to murder Vash and scratching up Livio's hand for good measure she seems to have used up enough of her blood lust to call off the attack. Instead she will stare at them intensely while the kittens continue playing king of the mountain.

Try living with her sometimes. How did you manage to not get scratched? [As Vash was too busy trying to protect his face to see the rapid healing.]
