[As the day starts to move more towards evening Vash finds himself waking up just inside the tunnel system. For once dressed in his normal clothes, but of course Vash isn’t the lucky type. There’s just a SLIGHT problem as he fumbles his journal out of his coat pocket. He opens it and speaks calmly, as if nothing was wrong.]Wolfwood, I need a hand

[Just as he knew the moment you left, he knew the moment you returned and set off in the your direction. He'd been within a reasonable distance, definitely closer to your location than the village. He comes up on your right and leans one shoulder against a nearby tree.]

[He takes a moment to observe. He could tell Vash was avoiding talking to him about something. But his internal conflict over the experiments in general and what they did to Vash made this situation a hard one to deal with. His mind is alight with activity. He needs to think.]
