[He's quite aware of what day it is, and while he doesn't know much in the way of what happened, he's pretty damn aware that it makes you all emo. Even so, he'll leave you to yourself-sometimes people have to just have a moment, and for once you're actually moping about something he'd deem mope-worthy.

So expect him to hang around the apartment and leave you to your own devices, this day.

The crew of the main ship raised us. They taught us many things, but really there was one who spent more time with us than anyone. Her name was Rem. She was... well, [He sighs] she's one of the most important people to me. She's the one who taught us really how we should live.

It was her dream to find the new planet and make it into an Eden for the human race. We... Rem, Knives, and I... we use to always talk about how once we got there we'd live our lives in nothing but peaceful days. Rem always loved to say that we'd not only see it, but create it. She was so hopeful for all our futures... [He pauses a moment, gathering the strength to go on to the next part.]

I don't really know what happened. What changed. But then suddenly... things started going wrong. It started shortly after we discovered Gunsmoke. It was the first planet that people could possibly survive on that the crew had found. They weren't going to land yet, as it was mostly a dead planet. They were going to work first on trying to make it more livable, or move on ( ... )
