She's digging in her bag before she knows it - the one she brought just in case the Malnosso weren't as generous as they claimed - and pulls out a thin blanket she planned on bringing out into the field just in case - as she hurries over.]

Then they'd be jerks. [Her voice is hard and she tugs the blanket more securely over his shoulders - why so tall, Vash? She steps back and smiles at him a little.]

Bato, a man in our tribe? Was burned really badly in a fight with the Fire Nation. His entire side [she traces from her wrist all the way up to her neck] is scarred and red. This is... pretty bad, but you're alive and that's what counts.

Ah... I hurt my foot kicking them, but no, these are all old.

And to be honest, if they gave me a chance to dress I probably would have tried going out the window.

[...well, she's got to admire his persistence. Still - she kinda wishes he would have just put on some clothes. Kinda still blushing over here, and now that the blanket's delivered she'll be edging away. Hope you've got a good grip on that towel, man.]

I'm sure they'll let you ask for clothes when we get to the place we'll be staying. You can keep the blanket until then.
