The path she takes BY CHANCE leads her to where Vash is sitting and talking with the flowers - he seems to be upset in the same way the sky seems to be blue.

...so instead of continuing on, Rangiku pauses. And without a word sits down next to him.]

[Vash sits quietly, he doesn't mind the company and isn't shy of his tears at all. But after a while he'll speak.] Out exploring today?

Not exactly. [She turns to look at him directly - for all her dancing around, she also knows how to be very blunt.] Why are you crying?

A friend of mine died recently and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little homesick as well.

[She turns over one hand - don't mention it.]

Do you want to talk about it? [She's not quite looking at him. Being useless when it came to stopping the Malnosso from taking her captain? Not putting today on her happy list, and she's not sure she'd be able to keep it from her face. Hitsugaya wouldn't want everyone to know. Foolishness, because they'll notice when he returns. But for now, she'll try to honor her captain's wishes.]
