We'll See How That Works Out..
I hope everyone had a great Merry Christmas!
This Christmas was good. We didn't get very many gifts as we did last year. But that's okay. I know times are tough and this recession has put a tight budget for all of us. But I'm glad my sister (that's in the ARMY) was with us.
The day after Xmas, she had to report back to base. This time she's stationed in Fort Bragg, NC. Imagine the drive from Stockbridge, GA to Fort Bragg, NC and back... all in one day. I was exhausted. She's pretty nervous about being there cause it's the Airborne Division of the Army, and she hates flying.. But i told her she needs to get over that fear ASAP.
I finally did something I've been wanting to do for a looooooong time. I finally joined a gym. I went ahead and signed up for Gold's Gym. I've had a membership with them a long time ago, when I was first married to Brian, but I went ahead and joined again, since i know how they work... and such. I can't wait to start. I've been telling the hubby about joining the gym so i can relieve some stress and maybe, hopefully maybe, feel better about myself. We'll see how that works out..
Things between Jimmy and I have gotten better. He's been seeing Vicky just about every week to every week and 1/2, depending on his and/or my work schedule. He plays with her and try to have a good time. Vicky knows he's her daddy. She's already calling him 'Daddy' and calling my hubby by his name. I did nothing. Some people think i'm telling Vicky who to call who, but she does it all on her own. Jimmy will be seeing Vicky tuesday evening. I'm gonna ask Jimmy if he would like to come to my house one day and see Vicky there. Just a thought. I won't push it too much. I just want him to know how she lives and how she is taken care of and such. I mean, he is her father and deserves to know her whereabouts. I've already talked to Eli about it, he doesn't mind. We'll see how that works out... :)
Well.. it's quiet in this house. it's only Eli and I in the house.. blah! My kids are with my MIL (Mother In Law), spending the night at Eli's grandmother's house (MEME). so I get to have a good sleep tonight!
