[This past week has been an emotional mess for Stella, and she's pretty sure she knows the reason why. Her relationship with Cloud has reached awkward levels, her relationship with Senel has taken several steps back... and yet she's starting to think about the latter more and more lately. [For Rika, this week has been both sickening and nightmarish. Senel going off on his own somewhere, Stella taking Sophie and going off somewhere, Hanyuu falling for some guy, the general mood in the house being ... weird -- Rika knew that the cause had to be that love experiment, like most people had been talking about. But even so, things still felt oddly ... tense. She didn't like it.

Therefore, she went out on a walk to get away from that atmosphere, so she could be alone for a while. And, over time, her aimless walk ended with her reaching the lakeside area. When she sees Stella there, waiting for someone, she's not sure about approaching ... but, well, Stella seems just as tense as the atmosphere Rika just tried to get away from. So, she starts to head over.]

[Stella was so deep in her own thoughts. Trying to sort through what she's feeling is like trying to navigate through one large spiderweb. It's messy, it won't leave you alone, and it's generally very annoying and a bit scary. And even when you get through it, you'll find parts of it sticking to you later.

But at the sound of her name being called, Stella jumps a little from within her coat and turns her head. Ah, it's only Rika... This wasn't who she wanted to see, but her company is welcome. She offers a smile - although a bit strained, it's still nice to see her.]

Rika. I'm sorry, I didn't realize you were there.

Mii-. [That sounded a bit forced, but Rika's smile looks a little less so.] It's alright -- I wasn't expecting anyone to be out here either. [ ... ] ... Why are you out here? Are you waiting for someone?

As a matter of fact, I am. [She pats the spot beside her, inviting her to sit with her.] But I wouldn't mind some company while I do so.

[This is probably not the company she wanted. Once he realized what was going on, Cloud distanced himself like crazy and started running around and keeping as busy as possible.

So he crunches through melting slush over to where she sits, bundled up, and tries not to put too much thought to how cute she looks and how cold she must be. He debates, then crouches down a little ways away from her. Too far to be considered amiable.]

[Stella glances at him, and though her gaze lingers, she still turns her head away forcefully to look at something else instead. Maybe the crown. Yes. You know, if she gave it to him, he might want to- No, she stops the thought before it completely forms. She shouldn't do that.

He's sitting beside her, isn't he? Although she's tempted to scoot closer, she's resolute in staying put.]

I know, but... [But still. Hell, she's married. This probably makes him a horrible person, that he wishes she'd get a divorce so they could be together. He couldn't even lie and say he wasn't hoping something would happen to Senel so she could be with him.

[There were times this week when Stella would entertain the thought of what would happen if she did get a divorce. He'd be with the person he found and she'd be with Cloud. They'd be happy... right?

No. She knows they wouldn't be. She realized that the moment she thought of that scenario. Thus, she would never, ever admit to having them. And lately, those thoughts have been developing less and less.

Still. She had them, and she's absolutely disgusted at herself for it.]

[She feels some relief in her shoulders, though it hasn't completely lifted yet. That'll happen if he shows up. Still, she feels like she won't be waiting for nothing now.]

[Unusual indeed. She's never been apprehensive about seeing him. Nevertheless, she still fiddles with that flower crown she's holding. It really is like one big web that she can't seem to untangle for the moment, though she knows it'll unravel soon enough.

It'd be easier to just wait until the experiment ends. But for some reason, that's the last thing she wants to do.]
