If anyone would like to visit, I've made plenty of cookies!

[Indeed, there's definitely the smell of cookies if one draws closer to house #32.]

fourth wall, up for trolling, cookies for all, troll in the village

[She overheard that announcement somehow (the temporary visitors probably get journals, but who knows). That voice was definitely familiar and this place wasn't. It takes her a while to get there, since she didn't know which house to look for, but when she smelled cookies, she just followed her nose.

Someone's knocking on your door now, very politely.]

[Ah, the first customer visitor! Stella opens the door with one hand, the other full with a plate of cookies of all kinds - chocolate chip, peanut butter, sugar, any you can think of, she probably made. Once she sees who's on the other side...]

...Chloe! [Oh, she hopes she remembers her. If not... well, she'd have to explain a lot.]

[She definitely remembers her, but probably not the memories that Stella will expect. Chloe smiles a little.] Hello, Stella. It's been some time since I last saw you. How have you been?

It has been a while, hasn't it? [She's pleasantly surprised - most people don't remember their experience here when they return to this world. She opens the door a little wider and steps back, allowing Chloe inside.] We've been very well, thank you. And yourself?

Thank you. [Chloe accepts the unspoken invintation and comes inside. She's rather glad to since it is a bit crowded outside and none of the people she had talked to had given both useful and believeable information on where they were. The only ones who hadn't seemed confused talked an awful lot about pulling people's strings and hearing voices in their head.] I've also been well.

So, is this where you two have been living since I last saw you?

[The comment makes her a little confused, but she rolls with it.] Yes, it is. [You may notice that the house has a nautical theme going on, what with doohickeys and knickknacks being collected, such as a boat wheel and an anchor and sand dollars and such.]

[That she does.] You seem to have settled in here quite well.

Mm. We live as well as we can in this place... [She holds out the tray of cookies for Chloe.] Cookie?

Yes, thank you. [And she selects...some cookie, idk what she'd like.] ...So this world is a hard one to live in?

It can be, if you let it. And even if you don't... It can be hard. But... we've come to accept this place as home. [Because they have too.]

Is it as bad as Luceti? [...She has no idea how obvious the answer to this question is.]

...

This is Luceti.

...What? But...people who come to Luceti get wings, right?

Reply

goldenfirefly December 21 2009, 04:04:40 UTC
Yes... Yes, they do. For some reason, the large crowd that's arrived doesn't have wings.

Then that explains why I...but how did I end up here?

[tagging here to snag C too while you two ladies babble, there is a tiny person in the kitchen stealing cookies.]
