(no subject)
So today was election day for Doane Players, I was nominated for President, VP, & Sec. My entire intent and purpose with the organization was to break up the groups tearing Doane Players into three separate groups:
- The one's whose voice never seems to get heard
- The upperclassmen who seem to know all
- The ones with experience, and no respect.
Unfortunately, the idea of keeping this 'seperate, and entirely unequal' organization won the battle. And for the next year at least- the war. ;)
I can't say Im not disappointed, but if I was meant to be there- I would be. You fill in the rest.
On a happier note, I got the solo in 'Children, Go Where I Send Thee' in Choir. Its this amazing gospel/spiritual- and Im truly honored to get the solo. It was the first time in like- 4 years that I was shaking after I sang. I was so nervous for some reason. Who knew a brother had soul.
