Callbacks for No way to Treat a Lady were tonight. I'm not quite sure what to think. It was refreshing to hear the Rob casts on talent and not seniority.
Tomorrow I have callbacks for Woychek. It'll be hard to focus on that, a completely different turn around in scripts, while waiting for No way to Treat a Lady to be posted afterward. Then read-thru tomorrow for that, and Woychek posted Monday!
So much waiting- but I'm having a blast, and meeting incredible people!
Robs idea in interrupting the musical is so exciting. Its a dark, musical comedy about a serial murder. And he wants to design it under the idea of graphic novels, like Sin City. It sounds so cool- I can't wait to be apart of it. If I'm not cast, I still have ATV (Tech Theater) class.
His idea for Woychek, a very traditional look at the sick experiments performed on a mentally-sick solider, is to place this script (almost two hundred years old) into the current War on Terrorism. It is a dream to work with Rob.
