The Lennox Legacy [1.0]
Hi! So this is my first post, and my first time writing a legacy. I'm really excited! I hope that I've done everything right, but if not, feel free to correct me.
Warnings: None really, just that this is my first legacy, so things might be a bit rough to start out. But I've read so many legacies that hopefully I have the right idea! I think there might be a curse word or two in there, and I'm not quite used to editing photos yet, so the sizes might be too big. Let me know if they are and I'll do my best to fix them!
We begin the legacy with our founder engaging in typical founder activities. I'd say that I'm surprised, but...
This is the founding member of the Lennox clan, the painfully shy Logan Lennox. Logan enjoys reading, painting, and above all else, being ridiculously cute.
I immediately send Logan off to get the newspaper and start job hunting. He takes a job in the Music field.
I was about to send Logan off to a community lot in search of some pixel_trade lovelies, but the adorable Helium by thealicecat wandered onto the lot instead. Logan rushed out to say hello.
After chatting for a while, they started to flirt anonymously. It was so adorable! They're both extremely shy, so they kept blushing and just being sickeningly sweet. I was squeeing, ngl.
Logan was talking to Helium for a while, so his needs were getting quite low. I directed him to say goodbye to Helium, and this is how they parted ways. So much for taking things slow.
Dog: I disapprove. Sluts! *growl*
I had Logan work on his skills most of the day to try and get a head start for his career path, but that evening I noticed the gorgeous Alta by rhiannon_alexis walk onto the lot, and I just had to send Logan out to greet her. After all, he's a young, fine piece of pixelation. He needs to keep his options open.
They subsequently went inside where they began to discuss soup.
Logan: But I'm a big fan of tomato. I mean, it's so underrated! A big bowl of tomato soup with a toasty grilled cheese? Heaven on earth, girl!
Alta: *pretends to care*
I initiated some flirting, but their chemistry just wasn't as strong as Logan's is with Helium. *sigh* Fret not, Alta. You will be in this legacy someday.
It's Logan's first day on the job, and wouldn't you know it, I am presented with a chance card. Goodie! Because, you know, we all have such great luck with them.
Case in point. As if he wasn't poor enough already.
Logan had been courting Helium for a few days, so when he invited her over and asked her to move in that evening, it wasn't a surprise that she accepted. Thank god! Logan really needed some extra cash.
Oh, you've been such a help, Helium.
Logan brings Helium inside their home to show her just how much he cares. They are so cute!
Here's a close-up of Helium. She's so pretty! She had a job as a Mayor (score!) but her LTW was to reach the top of the Intelligence career. Sure enough, I had her check the newspaper and it was there. So goodbye, high paying job. Hello, bottom of the food-chain. *sigh*
Just as Helium was about to leave for work, I noticed Kor'a by boolpropbea outside. Helium rushed out to say hello. I will have you in this legacy someday, too, Kor'a!
Kor'a: Great...
Logan wasn't getting any younger, and no babies have been produced yet, so I sent the lovebirds to get busy. There were chimes!
Helium had the day off, so I had her skill. She did not look pleased with whatever the book was telling her.
Great, another chance card.
Well, then...
First pop!
Since Helium was now showing, Logan figured it was as good a time as any to pop the question. Helium said yes!
Did I mention how cute they are? Because seriously? Soooo adorable!
Second pop!
Since Helium was close to having the baby, she and Logan finally tied the knot.
And a few hours later, Helium went into labour. Logan witnessed the whole thing and panicked throughout it all.
Helium gave birth to Caleb Lennox, the first born child of the Lennox Legacy! The naming theme for this generation will be characters from the TV show The O.C., because it will forever be one of my favourites. Caleb gets his name from the notoriously greedy yet fricking awesome Caleb Nichol.
A little while after Caleb's birth, I sent Logan and Helium to get busy on another addition to the Lennox family. I need moar babies! And there were chimes, so I will be getting more. >;)
Despite being busy with work and another baby on the way, Helium and Logan still manage to be great parents to little Caleb.
What an attractive family. :)
While all the family bonding was nice, I spotted cosmetical's Madelyn walking by outside, and I made Logan stop what he was doing to greet her. We need all the pixel_trade connections we can possibly have!
Why yes, dear, you are pregnant. *smirks*
It was time for Caleb to grow into a toddler!
