[The feed times on with a soft beep, fingers twitching slightly. The woman is sitting in her chair, head tipped back, and if you really look close enough, you can see red circles under her eyes, dried tear tracks down her cheeks.. But they're old.
One arm is propped over the back of the chair, it's twin resting in her lap, palm up, fingers twitching idly. She's fast asleep; and rightly so. A week of no reprieve can mangle anyone's resolve. Even some of the strongest women.
