Anime Expo!

Anime Expo was a fantastic time!  I have always wanted to go to this con, so I was very happy to have the opportunity to attend this year!

It was wonderful to see Kalafina in concert as well as get an autographed album!  They are so talented!  They have so many beautiful songs, but I think my favorite is their song "Fairytale." As a bonus, Wakana complemented me on my cosplay. ;-)

It was fun to see Kurosaki Maon in concert as well.  Great outfit clearly inspired by lolita fashion! My favorite song from her is the ending theme from the Index II anime called "Magic World." Unfortunately, due to the Umineko gathering, I did not have time to get an autograph from her. ;_;

There was a ton of great cosplay!  Everywhere you looked you were sure to find a gorgeous anime or game character!  I was excited to do my Beatrice cosplay, both the Golden Witch and Umineko Chiru versions of Beatrice. I was also happy there wasn't a million other Beatrice cosplays. lol

I was asked by photographer Kris Zoleta for a picture, and he kindly gave me his business card so I could find the picture later.  He is a great photographer and was really able to capture the moment (despite my evil wig! lol)!

For the Umineko gathering and Day 3 of the con, I did my version of Beatrice from Umineko Chiru.  The clip-on bangs felt weird, but I was relieved to use my own natural hair for this cosplay.

The Umineko group gathering was my first con gathering.  It was a ton of fun, and all of the cosplay was so well-done!  We met in one of the lobbies of the convention center, and we filled it with people taking pictures of us.   I felt like a star! *.*

I also made sure to take pictures around the hotel, which was historic and beautiful.  The lighting was rather dim, but I like how this one turned out:

I would definitely love to do AX again, and I will definitely be Beatrice again in the future.  Being Beatrice was the most fun I've had with a cosplay, even with the troubles of wearing a hoop skirt! ;-)
