Fate is what you make it. You have to take the things you want.

I like you, Tony Stark.

You'd be the first.

Really? That's okay, I have a questionable reputation as well.

That doesn't fill me with confidence in you.

Hm. Would it be better if I said I'm the well-intentioned underdog who just has a bad rap for doing awful things but I'm still a good person deep inside?

Not really, no. It sounds like a line.

Yeah, I thought so too. It bordered on cliche. But it was worth a try, right?

So what's the problem with you? Why doesn't anybody like poor Tony?

Not against me.

Long story. But the moral is: If you don't listen to people who are trying to help you, there's a good chance your going to die. And there was also the alien invasion. Which was not my fault. But..yeah. If your in a position of power, everything is your fault.

But people can be deceptive. "Help" isn't always what it seems. Also, alien invasion?

Yes. Little green men came, walked among us, pretended to be our friends and then killed some really good people before we were able to drive them back. Invasion.

That bites. I've never seen aliens, but with the things I have seen, they wouldn't surprise me.

"Bites" doesn't even begin.. Really, really good people died. This girl I..this girl I knew, her husband was taken by them and replaced. None of us could even tell the difference. They killed her, we rescued him and he askes me where his wife is. A friend of mine's baby was taken away because we left her in the hands of someone we thought we could trust. By the time we realised he was one of them, he was long gone. "Bites" doesn't cut it.

Tragedies happen. You know what "bites"? Having the ability to level New York City in seconds and not knowing if you'll be able to control it or not.

That? That's a Tuesday for me. Not even a particularly interesting Tuesday.

You must be a highly unique individual, then. I can appreciate that.
