Spring sneaking onto the scene
So I have the place to myself---sort of. My plague is on the way out---I think. Silly Winter had to give me one last reminder....
I have a Twitter account now. I can feel my attention span shrinking slightly as a result. On the other hand, I got to spend time with my mom recently and had a blast! I also have some more canvases, and a few quick trips to see family are getting lined up. My taxes are almost set, despite some setbacks and lack of forms, and I'm so excited for the summer!
The weather now is still cold, but my drive home has been in daylight, with sunlight reaching into the car and making it nice and warm by the time I'm home. Granted it's chilly walking to the house, but I still love this time of year. The change in weather and temperature makes me feel more aware and connected. The sky shifts from blue to grey, but it always seems committed to a color. The wind makes the trees talk and the flowers are slowly on the move.
I'll be thrilled by the time it's beach weather....but for now sitting on the lawn with a good book and a day without biting wind will do just fine.
