Am sick. And bored. And annoyed that I can't work like today like I had wanted too. Le sigh.
Saw it last night, even though I had a fever and my head was pounding.
Good Lord, it was worth it.
That was probably the most beatiful movie I've ever seen, and definatly one of the most touching. Johnny acted it perfectly, as did Kate Winslet, and the kids were so adorable and so talented.
I'm usually not one for "sappy" movies, as I'd heard this be called, but I think anyone would enjoy this film. It appeals to the child in all of us ; that everyone has a Neverland somewhere, that we all at some point had an imagination that would take us places, and that you never have to really grow older.
And, bonus points for making me cry. I'm usually unbreakable, but this thing had tears rolling about the last half hour.
Soooo good.
And while having the day off is grand, I think everyone should take a moment to think about why this is a holiday, and about the impact one man had on so many people....
