Excited for E3 2016. (E3 = Electronic Entertainment Expo, the biggest gaming convention in the US every year.) I think I have definitely become and honest-to-goodness gamer. Hm. Of course, I'm only excited to the level that I am capable of, and I'm the kind of person who could win many millions in the lottery and my response would be something along the lines of, "What, really? Are you kidding? No way. Huh. Really? I'd better tell Vir. Gosh, I guess I don't have to worry about sharing a house any more, and I can afford any of the bikes at the shop now instead of having to buy the cheaper ones, so I should be able to find one that works...that's a relief. It'll be fun to buy stuff for everybody. Okay, better call mom..."
And there would be no screaming or crying or freaking out, because I just am not capable of those levels of emotion. They should never let me win the lottery because the coverage of it would be incredibly dull...I would just looked confused and doubting and then kind of stupid as I attempted to process the repercussions. So yeah, for me 'excited' just means 'happily anticipating' and nothing grander. But still, it's fun.
Gonna rent a bike this weekend in an attempt to find a new one to buy. They're expensive and it's tricky to fit this damaged, defective body. I would be so happy if I could find one that takes the pain back out of riding. I really would. I want to sail down the country roads again with birds swooping alongside me.
