Pineapple spears and homemade sweet potato fries for lunch today, yummy. I also didn't feel great this morning so I had some soy-milk homemade hot chocolate...it's very soothing. (The soy can be emotionally stabilizing for some women, too. I don't know if it works on everyone, though. Probably only if your hormone levels are slopping about a bit, but I don't really know...)
If you take two tablespoons of brown sugar and one tablespoon of cocoa, you have yourself a homemade, gunk-free hot chocolate mix. It's super yummy. (It probably wouldn't be great just mixed into water, though. If you're okay with milk...which I'm not...you make it in milk. Or you can add powered milk to the mix, of course and then you only need hot water.)
It's another super pretty day. October has been very windy...biking in it is tiring. But very pretty. Beautiful weather...I love the temperature between 10 and 20 C all day :) However, I'm VERY tired the last 2 or 3 weeks. I already felt like I was being dragged back to bed at 8AM. I should go have a nap before 11 so that I don't accidentally put the fries in the pot drawer instead of the oven...or start looking in the fridge for my DS like I did yesterday. (Don't laugh. The sad part is that it is REASONABLE for me to look in the fridge for a misplaced DS because I'm entirely capable of sticking it in there.)
Got my pocketed page protectors. They fit perfectly.
I can't find Holly Hobbie, though. Where did she go? Did we give her away?
