I've had a few rides, but it's definitely still cold. Oh, and I got my hair cut about a month ago...it's a very cute cut, but it requires a little maintenance, which means I wouldn't go back and do it again. It's SUPER short at the back (like a pixie, or a typical men's cut) and chin-length at the front. Looks good but my hair is naturally very wavy, perhaps even curly, so to avoid looking like I just have weird long bits of hair randomly left on my head at the front, I have to make sure it dries straight. Which is a huge pain and I don't bother unless I'm going somewhere, so they're always pinned back. Kind of pointless. Cute when worn by a proper adult who takes care of her appearance, though. I'm too tired and, oh yeah...I don't care enough.
So yeah, back to the weather...it sucks. It's still cold. Every night is clearly below zero and often the high of the day doesn't go into double digits. This is a very slow, late, chilly spring, and of course, like all springs around here, it's very windy, making riding even colder (and more difficult). Usually I'd get out at least every other day in April, but not this one. But I've planted radish and sugar snap pea seeds, so it's still better than winter. And I do see some leaf buds on the earliest trees (the balsam poplars, which are abundant, here.)
And to my surprise, I definitely want Xenoblade 3D.
Made rhubarb cake today (everyone wants it and we only get it this time of year). I also have some cabbage-roll casserole (which is not in 'roll' form so it's much easier and nicer, too, because you don't get big mouthfuls of just cabbage) ready to go in the oven to be ready in time for dinner. Gonna get punctuated...hmm, probably tomorrow, so my bones are popping and cracking and my sciatic is being a bugger, as it always is around this time, for some reason. Increased inflammation? I don't know. Bodies are weird.
