Shameless Self Promotion
If any of you are on Tumblr I've just started a blog there where I put my archaeologist-turned-librarian skills to use and teach you about Scandinavia. Everything you ever possibly wanted to know about the Nordic countries and then some.
I did this because, well, I'm focussing my library science degree in Web 2.0 and social media. So this is a resume builder for me, and it's fun. And Tumblr makes me feel like I don't have to write an essay, as other sites do. And I can update it at work/while procrastinating and not feel like a total slacker.
The blog is called Nordic Drifter and it updates twice a day with random facts about history, mythology, geography or whatever the hell I feel like. So please check it out if you have a Tumblr account or just if you're interested in that sort of thing.
