Disney World 2006!!!!!
I feel that I can post this on here now, since I've spoken with Richard and Mark about it, and I've now known for two days...Some of you already know!
I got accepted into the Disney internship as a Character Performer (yes, as a costumed Disney character), so from August 2006 to January 2007, I'll be living and working in Orlando, Florida! They pay me hourly, housing is on Disney property, and I get free admission into all of the parks and the water parks. Basically....I'm living the dream! I'm beyond excited, and I can't wait for it to be August already! (The first thing I plan to do: ride The Haunted Mansion several times in succession!) It's especially cool because they are very picky about who they hire to be a character, and for some reason they picked me!
I'll be back in time for the Spring semester in 2007, so I don't feel that I'm missing much. I'm still doing the internship with Theatre Arlington this summer, so don't everyone go missing me yet or anything.
So... that's the big news, yay!
