quick note: Hannah's wedding a success. Amy and I survived, and then we got drunk. Less drunk than we usually get, actually. Clearly we will have to make up for that sometime. Amusing sidenote: she and I have hilariously different tastes in drinks. Only drink we seem to agree on: Cosmos.
Belated birthday/early anniversary (two years on Saturday!) dinner with Matt tonight at Penne. Introduced Matt to the joy of fried calamari. Excellent service (and food); I recommend it. He fed my inner outer full-body linguistics geek with a book on the history of English, my classical music geek with a cd of choral selections (Messiah in German! who knew?), and made me really happy with a Regina Spektor cd (that I already own, but the fact that he remembered me talking about her, like, two summers ago means a lot, since my memory probably wouldn't be equally good). I will be getting us Phillies tickets. And then we went back to my apartment, lamented the lack of air-conditioning, couldn't agree on a movie to see (or at least, not a movie that was currently playing), and discussed caterers for the wedding. It was fun. :)
