The Annual Report
Merry Christmas, all! Well, really, it's not technically Christmas anymore, but whatever.
It was a very lovely Christmas this year, I have to say - not that it hasn't been in past years, but this year there was really nothing stressing me at all. Also, college has really basically been way more awesome than high school (although I do miss the writers), and that makes up a large part of it.
And now, of course, what you've all been waiting for...
From my parents:
*A printer/copier/scanner, which is awesome and will save me much hardship at school
*Walt Whitman's Leaves of Grass - he's one of my favorite poets, if not the favorite, and Leaves of Grass is just amazing.

*Pretty blue flannel sheets for my dorm room
*A Monet calendar, which will go to college with me

*A pink silk embroidered purse and coffee socks (from Amy)
*The promise of a book-Ravenclaw scarf and an afternoon picking out the yarn (from Hannah)

*La Vita è bella and Amélie on DVD - now my hall can finally have that Amélie-watching party we've been wanting to have since September!
*A wallet-sized photo of Maddie and Abigail, the sweetest girls and 1/2 of my total nieces

*A $100 giftcard to Anthropologie, which is the most amazing store in the universe, where this photograph was taken and from where the dress in that picture comes, and at which I can never afford to shop, so upon receiving this gift I promptly exploded from glee.
As I said, it was a very, very nice holiday.
