I'm a little peeved about something so...I'm going to do a poll. Now, bear with me, because this is my first time.
While the Kinsey Scale for Sexuality isn't really used anymore, it is still a decent tool for allowing others to rate themselves on a very defined scale for where they fall in the sexuality spectrum. If you've never heard of the scale, here's a quick breakdown (and very very simplistic, actually but for a poll, it'll work):
0 - Completely Homosexual. This means you've never looked a member of the opposite sex and thought even the most innocent of thoughts. These would include "he/she is cute," "Wow, cute tush on him/her" or anything along those lines. The thoughts did not have to be sexual in nature. To be a zero, you've never looked at a member of the opposite sex and had even the mildest inkling of interest.
1 - Majority Homosexual. Exactly as it says. You've looked at members of the opposite sex and have had thoughts of "cute," "nice ass," "wonder if he/she is a good kisser," and thoughts of that ilk. You've NOT had sexual relations or relationships with members of the opposite sex.
2 - Mostly Homosexual. This is the one where you've experimented. You've had thoughts and have acted on them. You may have been in a relationship with a member of the opposite sex but it's not your usual modus operandi.
3 - Bisexual. You've had relationships with both sexes. You've enjoyed them and you don't limit your interest based on male/female. You are as likely to be in a relationship with a man as with a woman. You may have long-term or short-term relationships with both (length of relationship doesn't matter).
4 - Mostly Heterosexual. This is the one where you've experimented. You've had thoughts and have acted on them. You may have been in a relationship with a member of the same sex but it's not your usual modus operandi.
5 - Majority Heterosexual. Exactly as it says. You've looked at members of the same sex and have had thoughts of "cute," "nice ass," "wonder if he/she is a good kisser," and thoughts of that ilk. You've NOT had sexual relations or relationships with members of the same sex.
6 - Completely Heterosexual. This means you've never looked a member of the same sex and thought even the most innocent of thoughts. These would include "he/she is cute," "Wow, cute tush on him/her" or anything along those lines. The thoughts did not have to be sexual in nature. To be a six, you've never looked at a member of the same sex and had even the mildest inkling of interest.
A few things to note here (these are more like test hints, as it were): If you've experimented in the past (examples: for females, this would mean kissing at a slumber party; for males, participating in a circle jerk) but you have not now and are not interested now, this does NOT mean you are a 6 now because you'd not do that now. You may be a 5/1 or a 4/2 - depends on what you think of the past. If you've wanted to act upon thoughts but haven't had the opportunity, again could be a 5/1 or a 4/2 - depends on how much you really wanted to act and if you would have (and only you know the answer to that, grasshopper).
This poll is open to all; public post, friends and neighbors, so tell anyone you want to about it. I'd love poll answers AND comments. Anon. is fine. I'll likely respond but I won't try to figure out who you are - I don't care. Comments are being screened and post results will be shown soon but will only be viewable to me until I've decided to close this. I've kept this anonymous so as to allow for (hopefully) complete honesty.
Vote only once, eh? It's just polite.
