"Puppy!" Billy grinned, petting Daisey softly for a second before pushing her off his legs. He grinned widely when he saw Hope, dropping his bag and taking her in his arms. He spun her around and set her back on the ground. "Hey baby."
"She's as adorable as a puppy." He smiled. His good mood was obvious.
He put his arms around her. "Very ready. It's all I've been able to think about all day. You and the beach..." He smiled at her. "How about you? You ready?"
He grinned. "Sweetheart there is nothing more adorable than you." He kissed her nose. Enjoying the feel of her fingers he smiles even wider. "Us time. Just us and the sea. What we need."
He picked up his backpack and his shoulder bag. He called his mother quickly to tell her they were leaving and looked at her, putting on his sunglasses. "All ready."
Bounding over to the porch she grabbed her things and pulled them onto her shoulder before heading back over. A slow smile played on her lips, "Ready."
Billy looked around and was amazed by what he saw. They were standing on the most beautiful beach he had ever seen. White sand, crystal blue water. Smooth boulders to sit on. Shiny sea shells on the ground. Bright sun.
Seeing him she smiled, the smile widening as Daisey ran over and almost pounced on him. "Hey you."

"Hey," smiling she leaned against his chest, her lips brushing his neck softly, "Are you ready to get away?"
