A few days later..
There are more people Billy wants to contact. He's not had a drink for a little more than a week and it's killing him. His body craves liquor but he will not give in. Damien has been a good friend and stayed with him in his time of need. Billy has never been more grateful. He had a good time with Jared when they went out for dinner, they had plans to do it once a fortnight, just to have each other's backs... and because it's fun to say "see you next fortnight." Billy was grateful to be taken under someone's wing persay. Billy had taken to drinking water by the gallon. His coaches thought it was good for him but everyone else thought was weird to be have a water bottle that large. He didn't care, it was what it was.
He would again write to Hope, he had written to her a lot, she was probably tired of seeing Hank at her window by now but he didn't care. He just wanted her to know how serious he was.

Hey. I've gone to my first AA meeting. It was a wake up call, one guy even took me under his wing. I've not had a drink in a week. It's been hard but I've had no second thoughts. I have a lot of people to make things up to and you are definitely one. I was a jerk to you and I shouldn't have been. I want you to have the best life you can and if it's literally in a different word then so be it. I miss you like crazy. Stay well. I'm trying hard to do that. Love you.
