My STD results came back completely negative. That's a great thing. Now the goal is to not put myself in another situation where I have cause to worry about it.
Deriiiiiiick has a buzzzzzzed head! ***sing to whatever tune you like***
I like it. It'll take some getting used to. I'm really curious to see how differently I'm treated now that my hair is buzzed. I have a feeling some people will be surprised. However, I have a feeling some people I will meet in the future will treat me differently than if I had a full head of hair.
I'm researching how to use a straight razor to shave. I find its usage very fascinating, and very... aesthetically pleasing. And I hate disposable razors. They work like shit, and just irritate my skin. Having to take care of the blade, making the lather, getting just the right angle on my face... it's totally me! There are certain times when I feel I was born in the wrong generation, during the Age of Convenience.
Razors cost about $50-60 for a quality one. However, a good razor will last a very long time. Shaving oils/lathers can be pricey too. But still, I see it as an investment.
Of course, with my current income, a straight razor is not anything I can consider. I need to wait until I'm financially secure to even consider it.
Oh well. It's just a thought. I do need to find someone who does use a straight razor. Get some tips and knowhow from him.
