So quite possibly the most unconstitutional act was passed last month; The Protect America Act. It authorizes open-ended surveillance on anything wireless by the executive branch. Besides just cell phones, this actually includes the entire internet. This means that every E-mail, Aim conversation, and web search that you make is potentially being screened by the government and stored in a data base. Theres no regulation on what they do with the data. Its a pretty scary combination with the "Military Commissions Act" of 2006 which allows the executive branch to arrest and jail indefinitely without a warrant, evidence, or access to a lawyer if you are a suspected terrorist or fund a terrorist organization (even unknowingly).
