I LIVE... SORTA
So I survived surgery, but the recovery is killing me. I'm having intense soreness and pain in my jaw and up the right side of face. It's a week today since I have the teeth out and I feel like I should be better than I am, so I will probably go back to the surgeon this Friday just to make sure I don't have an infection or something.
Question: I know it takes awhile for the holes to close up where the teeth used to be. Do I have to worry about getting food in them until they close (which as I understand it can be something like 12 weeks!)? Or do they eventually become hardy enough to where I can eat regularly and not worry about it so much?
I am miserable, send ice cream. It's pretty much the only thing I can eat.
