Is It My Birthday Yet?
I have a confession to make. I went shopping on Black Friday last week. It's a yearly tradition in my family that the girls need to roll out of bed at 3AM and drive into town to stand in an incredibly long line in the frigid pre-dawn hours to buy things we don't really need. What did I buy that I didn't need, you may ask? A COMPUTER. And the horrible thing is that it's black and shiny and has a 19" widescreen monitor and holy goodness, I love it. ♥. My old computer was, well, ancient and I've been having feelings lately that it was getting ready to die but it still worked so I didn't really need to buy a new one. It was the price! The fantastic price! My credit card hates me. I am so banned from buying anything for myself for the next year. Except for, like, food or something.

I swear, the colder the weather gets, the more I become a hermit crab. Yes. Retreating into my cozy shell. For instance, I'm pretty sure all I did at work today was stare at my computer screen and lose brain cells while getting my daily dose of radiation. Oh, and I moved my mouse around a little, clicked a few keys. You know, just so I didn't look like I was sleeping or anything.

I'm taking Friday off this week because Saturday is my birthday. NO I WILL NOT TELL YOU HOW OLD I WILL BE. IT'S ANCIENT, OKAY? Is this where I start going backwards in years? I like the idea of that...
