Isn't it strange what sort of things go on in the world that we have no idea about? Right now, somewhere, someone is being kidnapped, disappearing forever. What happens to these people? You think of all the children that are abducted and never found, all the missing friends that go out to buy bread at the supermarket and never come back.
To disappear entirely. It's never really hit me before how awfully frightening it is that that can happen in our world.
