I'm glad you find the confusion fun! Most people get annoyed about it, but I'm of the opinion that if you know everything at the beginning, why bother reading at all?

You will be happy to know that the next chapter deals with Neji & Tenten's past, and a little about her powers.

Orochimaru is definitely a creepy bastard. I'm glad that came through!
