DUDE THESE ARE SO MUCH <333333333333 you have hit on a totally valid point and tricky detail that most writers seem to ignore, the two queens thing. At some point I am sure they did share a bed, like when they were kids w/ their dad, and then Sam went off to school and Dad and Dean kept getting two queens, then when Sam came back having a bed to yourself was normal. But still... I love the story in the first one. And also, Bumfuck Nowheresville is totally the appropriate location for this sort of, oh you know. the endiiing <3

eee where do you get your spn icons? My single one is lonely. (and not appropriate for all spn-related posts)

I imagine they have shared so many things over the years, if not recently than while they were young. Beds! Food! Clothing! Personal items! Baths! Personal boundaries? HAHAHHA.
Toiletries! IF ONE OF THEM GOT A BLOODBORNE DISEASE, THE OTHER WOULD ALSO CATCH IT. That's how you know it's love!

But yes, if we roll with the fannish assumption that they are having sex in any given season then they do have a perplexing tendency to rent rooms with two beds. Of course sometimes one of them looks STRANGELY UNSLEPT IN nevermind that it's just Sam's OCD tendencies.
Then again, could you really fit them both into a king comfortably? I've done the numbers and I'm NOT SO SURE. Do you know, Sam's feet would be HANGING OFF a long twin (like we have, and probably they also had at Stanford D: )?
