Apparently Monday morning is a popular time down at the laundromat. Given the choice between telenovelas and NPR+blogging, I'll choose the geek path everytime. Appropriately enough, given the mismatched Choate t-shirt, bright khakis, and sneakers I'm wearing with a leather coat. I think fashion is suspended in the laundromat, though.
The chore improves my wardrobe long-term, though, bringing me to my next point.
Dating Robin is going swimmingly, and although I'm in the early stages of oxytocin addiction we agreed to take half of yesterday and today off from one another. This is a chore- I can't get her out of my head. But alone time is good for you, and relationships are improved by not overdosing on them- the latter being a lesson learned just last summer. I'm just impressed at this sense of past relationships informing new ones. Is this what growing up feels like?
