My Immaculate Conception
Ok, so maybe it wasn't immaculate but I hope it got your attention.
First up, today is my birthday, Huzzah!
Next, I went and saw the DaVinci Code, I thought they did a pretty good job with it. I don't know why the critics all panned it because I thought it was pretty good.
Also got to talk to Tom today and as always, he will forever hold a special place in my heart because he is Tom. He will probably always be my gay buddy. Every gay guy like myself has to have at least one gay friend that he doesn't sleep with and Tom is good for that. And Tom is a good cuddle bunny, I realized I don't cuddle nearly enough with Tom, I really need to catch up on that.
In other news, the people at the office did a really nice thing and had a little birthday celebration for me, I feel horrible for eating the cake because I have been so good about trying to eat less and healthier. I really screwed up by eating that, but it is my birthday I suppose.
On Saturday, some very lovable LARPers invited me out to the Improv Olympics. It was a lot of fun, I love stuff like that and can see how people can really enjoy doing that regularly. It was also nice to see some LARPers outside of game. I am trying very hard to make some more friends outside of game.
I have been processing my life, I always do this for those that know me. Usually happens about once a month, I get very reflective and all emotional. Happened yesterday for me and I am very glad that someone really helped me process and open up a lot more than I normally do.
For those that do not know me well, I wanted to clear up some things. I am not aloof or uncaring, just very defensive and I can be a very hard person to really know. Once you know me though, you will find me to be an open book. My wit is at full tilt. So, just keep trying, I am a hard nut to crack and I know it.
Lastly, life is good, sometimes fate can truly do exactly what is needed. I really do feel like my Christmas came early and I got the Barbie dream house that I always wanted.
