Clean bill of health.

Hi everyone, Gokou here!

Even though Grace is feeling a whole lot better, we still took her to the doctor's yesterday. It was time for her checkup anyway and with her getting over being sick, we figured it was twice as important to go.

So, we went to the doctor, who checked her out and said she was fine, isn't that great news? I think Grace was pretty happy with that too, cause she got all noisy and waved her arms and legs around and made all these spitty bubbles. The doctor says she's advance for a baby her age. Advanced means she's able to do more stuff than other babies her age can do and that's a really good thing!

Afterwards, we felt so good that Grace was okay that ChiChi and I did some shopping. Well, she did the shopping. I got to hold Grace and some of the packages. Then, when the shopping was done, ChiChi got to hold Grace and I got to hold all of the packages. ChiChi bought me some shirts. I don't know why, I have a closet full of clothes I don't wear cause I like my gi. But she did buy some blue t-shirts, which I have to get some weights into. I'll wear those. But ChiChi seems to think if she find the right thing, I wear it. But I have the right thing, I have my gi's! I don't need anything more right than that, right?

After we shopped, we got something to eat at one of the buffets. Peanut was so good! She fell asleep for the whole time we were eating. All the people in the restaurant were coming over and admiring her and saying how cute she was, and she just slept the whole time.

ChiChi bought this really cool thing for Grace when she was shopping. Well, actually it's for all of us. It's this holder you can put Grace into and wear over your front, so your hands are free, but Grace is nice and close. I love it! Now we can take turns carrying Grace and still have arms free to do stuff. The only thing is that ChiChi made me promise that I wouldn't think I could train while wearing Grace. Gosh, that wouldn't be good, would it? I mean, I'm sure our daughter is tough, but I don't think she's that tough. But the little "front pack" is great! In fact, I'm wearing it now with Grace while I type this. She's taking a little nap and so is ChiChi.

You know, Grace seems happier when she's resting up against one of us. Especially ChiChi. ChiChi says it's because she can hear her heartbeat, which she probably heard all the time when Peanut was on the inside. I'll bet that's right. It sound familiar to her and comfortable.

But, I think I'm going to go and get some fruit or something. I'm hungry, but I don't want to make something that would involve using the stove while I'm holding Grace. Even if my hands are free!
