from the inside
i just finished watching Star Wars II: Attack of the Clones. it was frikin awsome. especially the last half hour, really everything from the execution scene on. it made me want to be a jedi really bad. but more that anything, it makes me wish i lived in a time when people used swords rather than guns. guns really suck, they take all the personal interaction out of fighting. i guess its because ive been reading a lot of fantasty books lately. i finished reading the last book in the dragon lance series and i finished it in a few days. it was really fun. i wish i lived in a world of fantasy where i could choose to be a knight and wear a suit of armour and carry my pride and honor in a scabbard, and defend it to the death. or mabey i would be a worker of magic, dark, mysterious, and dreadfully powerful. now that i think about it, id much rather be a jedi. the stoic, wise, quietly strong blend of magic and swordplay. lightsabers are so frikin awsome.
ive been listening to Linkin Park, and some stuff from their new album, meteora. it sounds a lot like their old stuff, but thats ok, because i liked their old stuff. that is, before they remixed it all and called it new stuff. their bassist dropped out of law school to join their band. i guess he made a good move, cuz now he has the money to go back if he really wants and the band falls apart.
