Recent events have prompted me to write this post. There has been an increase in interest in both Scientology and Anonymous. But frankly, most people have no idea what is going on and why. While reading this there was a question in my mind, you said in 'Sea Org' workers are pressured from their bosses, who are pressured from their own bosses and so on. There has to be and end to the chain, right? What is it?

These effing auditories or whatever, are they still in action? Generally speaking, is Scientology now as merciless and strict as it used to?

Oh, and what originated the idea of Scientology? Is it an old concept?

not old at all. It originated with the pseudo-psychological work of L.Ron Hubbard, a 3rd rate sci-fi author. Specifically with the book Dianetics published in 1950. The Church of Scientology was created by him in 1952 to expand on these ideas. But truth is that it was a way for him to satiate his enormous ego and material greed and will to dominate others.

He pulled from various sources that range from Freudian psychoanalysis to Golden Dawn Occultism added with huge bits of stuff the guy just made up all to set up a corporate entity that would generate profit by following a religious cult model.

so yeah, now that they know what happens in the sea org and in the churches.. how come no action against Scientology was taken?!

how can you not know what Freudian psychoanalysis is? You know Freud. The guy who came up with psychiatry. Developed the concepts of ego/superego/id. Helped, along with Jung, in "discovering" the reality of what is called the subconscious mind. Started the psychological approach of dream interpretation. Personally, I have very mixed feelings about the guy. He was a complete sexist prick and drug addict. But he helped open up some new areas of thought ( ... )
