Generally, Ben can put off looking into things until after he gets off from school but today was different. Ben just had a feeling that this latest tip-off needed to be investigated the moment he had gotten wind of it.

Ben slipped out of the school without too much difficulty; public schools kind of let you do whatever you want as long as it isn't violent or related to drugs. Well, they let you do that too if you don't get caught. But not in Bellwood. Bellwood is much too wholesome for that. Although they did let Ben get bullied for most of his elementary school career...
