P-pups arrive!
7:30 pm -- solid black male, 350 grams -- strong, vigorous--nursing almost immediately
8:55 pm -- solid black female, 465 grams--BIG girl
10:07 pm Xita's acting like she's all finished and ready to just snuggle her babies. But she's got quite a while to go. Right now she's napping calmly and puppies are making that soporific mewling white noise. I suspect she'll have another pup in the next 25 minutes.
12:15 am -- (red) sable male, 475 grams -- huge head, sm white star -- looks like dad already!
12:25 am -- sable female, 505 grams -- big girl, dark pattern, red sable, no white
2:15 am -- dark black/tan female, 439 grams, no star
2:40 am -- dark black/tan female, 530 grams, small star -- born outside when Xita said she had to go potty...
5:15 am -- very dark sable female, 323 grams, small, long-bodied, breach birth and had a little liquid in her nostrils, seems vigorous, immediately interested in food
7 am -- very dark sable male, 495 grams
9 am -- very dark sable female, 497 grams, small white "blaze" on her chest, 3 white toes on hind foot (should go away before she's 8 weeks old)
