A couple of new little Who fans

I just posted some fun pictures over on a different com, which made me remember that I had a couple of things I wanted to post over here. This is my first post to this comm, so hi!

Back in March, for my birthday, I got a sonic screwdriver. It's awesome, and that same weekend I happened to be spending with my cousins, Alexis who is 5 and her baby brother Jake who is 2. They LOVED the sonic screwdriver. A lot. Jake is adorable and has crazy hair and I just had to do this.

Doesn't he look like a little Ten?

But that wasn't my point. My point is that Alexis is very inquisitive, and asked lots of questions about the show. So I ended up watching The Idiot's Lantern with her. Yes, she's five, but I love that episode and she loved it too. She begged me to watch more, but her mother doesn't want her watching a lot of TV.

And she instantly understood the whole Doctor/Rose thing. So much so in fact that later, when I went off to do something, she sat down and colored. And when I came back she holds up her coloring book to me and says, "Look, it's Rose."

And I asked, "And is that the Doctor." "Yup," she said triumphantly. Pleas realize how awesome this is; in The Idiot's Lantern, Rose is wearing a pink skirt, pink shoes, and a blue jacket. Voila. My only complaint is that she didn't make the house TARDIS blue. But it's not in that episode a lot so I don't blame her.
So we have a new little member of our fandom. You probably won't here from her for, oh, seven or ten years, but it's still exciting.
